Welcome to the Division of Research

The Center for Florida Local Government Excellence Division of Research works with faculty, staff and elected and appointed officials from local governments, state agencies, special districts, and non-profit organizations to research current and emerging Florida Local Government concerns.

These research projects utilize the expertise of faculty members in a variety of disciplines as well as practitioners in meeting specific research needs.

The Center also serves as a central clearinghouse and information referral source for state and local governments and publishes and disseminates statewide its original research and studies.
